Worship at St. Alban's Church, Offerton

Worship is at the heart of parish life at St. Alban's. The church offers a diverse pattern of worship throughout the week, both contemporary and traditional. St. Alban's seeks to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ in Offerton through worship, example and service - making Christ known to the world.

Babies and Toddlers group

The St. Alban's Praise and Play (Babies and Toddlers) group meets in the church every Thursday at 10.30am for games, crafts, bible stories, songs and much more! Each week we look at themes such as saints, special days, special places etc.

The group is also a way for new mums and dads to meet each other and share experiences. The group is very large and active, and visitors are very welcome to join us! There is no need to book, just turn up and we would be delighted to meet you.

We ask for a two pound contribution per family to cover the cost of the session.

For slightly older children, we run a "Messy Church" on the 1st Saturday of every month, 3.30pm-5.30pm. Each session involves crafts, games, songs and lots of fun and food, suitable for 4-11 year olds and their carers. Everyone is welcome, just turn up!

We also run a Storytime Service; a bedtime story and song for 0-11 year olds and their carers. Takes place every Sunday evening at 6pm, followed by hot chocolate and marshmallows!
